Interesting Ritsuko episode, with some niche foreshadowing of future events. Very excited for next week, the second half (best half) begins from now. Arguably the true EVA experience, we are only just getting started.

It's nice to see some focus on the older characters as a lot of popular anime and manga are centered around teenagers which limits the kinds of conflict we see characters struggle with within themselves and each other. I think Eva does a very good job balancing between older and younger characters while keeping them distinct from each other.

2023-07-11 05:55:20 +0000 UTCAfter a Misato episode it was only fair we have a Ritsuko one, it was about time we got to see more about her, I personally really like her and her friendship with Misato aswell. Yes Caspar, Melchior and Balthazar are the names of the three wise men that visited Jeasus after his birth, also known as the three magi. I have always liked how different this episode is, as in the don't have to fight the angel with the Evas in fact the kids are floating somewhere for hours lol, shows how good Ritsuko is at her job, and a little on her mom who, was brilliant I mean she created the Magi..
