One thing I love about this show and this episode in particular is that it trusts the viewer to put the pieces together. You can tell from the crime dirty and broken that the murder was sloppy. This is contrasted to all the murders we've seen Johan commit which are calculated and precise (shootings to the head, poison candy, etc). You can piece together that someone else was likely responsible for the murder before you even see the detectives.
