Man, the world building of this show is just so good. In every turn the author teases you with unknown elements. Even with Tonpa, when they said he has the 2nd highest attempts by 1 person. The author easily could have made him number 1 highest, but he chose to put that detail in there to further add intrigue and mysticism about the things we have yet seen.

2023-08-06 07:59:39 +0000 UTCthis is the episode where you really start to see one of the joys of this show--its ever-expanding cast of just completely eccentric, unique, and lovable characters. the main cast has some of the best characterisation i've ever encountered in anime (so excited for you to see where they all go) but man it's the side characters who get an unusual, some would say detracting, spotlight who really make this show and this world special. some people say it's goofy, but everyone has such heart, and i love how much of a kick you're getting out of it
