2023-08-10 00:21:15 +0000 UTCDefinitely a building blocks episode. Togashi is really phenomenal at his world building and the slow drip feed of it. Nothing ever feels totally overwhelming (at least that was my experience). Thinking about it this may be my least favourite episode of the series… I can think of a few other ‘weaker’ episodes, particularly in the first arc, but I’d prefer that then starting of strong and then going downhill as the story progresses. Much prefer a slower build to start and then it just goes from strength to strength.

2023-08-06 06:44:30 +0000 UTCYou're talking about showing the footage, I had a feeling from the first ep that you're still showing a bit too much cause you show the anime in full frame. Most reactors they cover the top part of the anime with an overlay that reduces opacity and then keep opacity at 100% on the subtitles. I don't really know if it changes anything but maybe it does you could try it out. (Even if I obviously like it better with full opacity of course but I'll be sad if your reactions get taken down) Be careful! I think you will enjoy the next episode a bit more bcs this one was not the strongest :)
