I have now watched Vinland Saga Episode 22 and targeting a Monday release.
Once both EVA and Vinland wrap, I think I’ll only have a replacement for one of them, for now. Most likely the Vinland Saga new show slot. I want to focus a bit more on Monster, HXH, Doctor Who and use the extra slot to record more of those.
I do plan on watching the Doctor Who 60th anniversary specials! Still no air dates though, eh ?

2023-10-26 16:31:54 +0000 UTCHello Im. I just watched the first episode of Pluto and it's definitely a treat. I intend on taking it slow with this one even though Netflix releases everything at once. I have brought this up before but when you eventually get to watch Pluto, I think it would be a nice contrast to start something silly like Kaguya Sama. You usually focus on the premium shows (and for good reason), but I felt after watching the first episode of Pluto that I wanted to watch the new season of Spy x Family to balance out the "cinema" with some "cartoons" if you get me lol. Just a thought!

It's a very underappreciated Anime due to a somewhat underwhelming adaption (slow pacing, some filler, inconsistent art and animation), however it's a truly intriguing world filled with hearty characters and lore dumps. It's a series you just can't get enough of. Look into it!

He asked if the 60th requires knowledge from her era and there was a bit of disagreement but I believe the consensus was that it's watchable without knowing anything about it. I'm unsure if he saw those comments or what he drew upon from the discussion. As someone not too fond of her run, all I'd recommend is watching the first episode just to get a general feeling of the vibe, and if there are any standouts people want to recommend they can do that Either way, assuming a linear progression he won't be able to do reactions for the 60th at the time of their release because it'll be a few months before he's done with S10
