Peak man, this episode is exactly what the whole series been building up for. The “i have no enemies” gave me so much chills especially with the ost. Can’t wait for the next episode reaction now.

2023-11-01 04:47:04 +0000 UTCYESSS! i’ve been so excited for this one. it is interesting to note that the scene where Canute commands the waves to stop is a depiction of a real recorded historical account of king Canute. He is said to have been sitting with his men at the sea and to have told his men to look as he commanded the waves to stop and not wet his feet. when they did not, he used it as a way to give reverence to god by saying that god was a much greater king than him because he could command the waves. Vinland saga has the interesting twist of Canute using it to demonstrate his spite and intent to fight him.
