2024-02-04 04:47:41 +0000 UTCA minor detail about translation. You know the translator/s did not use source material (manga) to help with translation when they mistake "turf" for "island" lol. To be fair, those two words do sound exactly the same and "turf" is a slang in this case. It's much, much easier to distinguish them in written form because then they would look nothing alike. But still. No Japanese native would ever mistake "turf" for an island when 1) no islands were ever previously mentioned, and 2) Squala is basically a yakuza who are expected to use words like "turf" and such.
