End of June Update

June was bit of a light month, but that was all the time I had for content creation this past month. I don't expect July to be the same, as some of the stuff really keeping me away from content creation was handled in June. That being said, I still certainly implore everyone to refer back to the end of May update, most of that still applies, for now.
I know some of you don't mind pledging right from the Start of the month, and I certainly appreciate that. For some, perhaps it's a better idea to hold off for a week a two, and monitor the progress before pledging.
As far as the break I spoke of, I don't expect to take it in August either. September/October is a strong possibility.

Hey, Im addressed this in the past (and Iβm a devoted fan of both) so Iβll do my best to paraphrase: still committed to finishing those two, but there is no date confirmed for them, indefinitely pushed back until the schedule settles back down. Especially for EVA, he mentioned being daunted by the editing challenge of working down the reaction portion for End of Eva. Similar to the Attack on Titan Finale. He has said something to the effect of your first thought re: channel growth and restricted time. My personal take: I get the feeling that those series are beautiful and dense and complex and harder to understand in a way that means sitting with them and discussing them takes time, takes much more revisiting of previous episodes, requires you to be in the right emotional space for them. Thereβs also a lot of hype, and so a lot to live up to! Not necessarily a value judgment on whatβs better or worse, but HxH IS a little easier to churn out and keep momentum with, was (before this arc) a little lighter and easier to watch and comment on. But by god, i will patiently wait till the ends of the earth for FilmBuff to watch End of Eva.

Adding on to the other guy, while I'm loving the HxH content and will stay subbed for the foreseeable future, what's the strat with the last bits of Eva and Vinland Saga? Was the thinking that consistent HxH content is the more important thing to prioritize as the time you could devote to the channel got restricted, and despite them being in their home stretches, they just drew the short straw? Or did you foresee your prep for finale discussions taking significantly longer than normal, which factored in?
