Filmbuff WILL deliver something juicy and lengthy...I hope. Last time we had an hour long discussion the King was just born! That's why I don't mind delays. LET 'IM COOK I can only think of a handful episodes that will possibly break the 2 hour barrier but it's very unlikely. But I'm sure, one day... We've had so many fantastic moments and iconic episodes since the start of this arc 80, 85, 91, 101, 105, 108, 111, 112, 116! Plus everything else in-between with build up and anticipation. It's still not over but quite a journey it has been. 32 episodes remaining! Only half length of Dragon Ball GT.

Yeah, Togashi excels at character writing and this was a pure showcase of his skill as a storyteller. Rarely do you witness such tension in an anime, let alone a "shonen". Like, this is on par with some of the best Breaking Bad episodes lol.

It's wild how in a "battle shounen" series one of the most iconic episodes is just 3 characters sitting in a room talking, almost like they were in a stage play, where all the tension accumulated for 30 episodes at this point blows up, but without any action scenes at all. Just top-tier writing from Togashi, and the insane visuals, voice acting and music/SFX added by the anime come together perfectly here.

This ep was definitely one that I was anticipating from you eagerly. I got here as soon as my notification rang XD The line “関係ないから” “Because it means nothing to you” isn't wrong entirely, but a more accurate translation would be “Because it has nothing to do with you”, which I think is arguably harsher. Not only does Gon disregard Killua’s emotions completely, but he also excludes Killua from his relationship with Kite/Pitou because “he (Killua) is apathetic.” I feel bad for every character in that scene.
