Quick post regarding AoT
Added 2024-11-02 13:43:07 +0000 UTCHello everyone, this isn’t really the type of post I like to make, but it’s something I should address, even if it feels a bit silly.
It was brought to my attention that someone claiming to be a Patron is replying to people on Twitter with made up stuff, in relation to my feelings on AoT. The last time I shared my thoughts on AoT was in the Final Chapters Special 1 video, which was April 20th, 2023. I have not shared any thoughts on it since then, and went on to start a full series rewatch, as it felt like a necessary step.
So I don’t know where this “mentioned falling out of love with it on multiple occasions” bit is coming from.
I’ve had similar issues before with people just making things up on discord server for a major channel, and then people just accepting it as fact.
Please don’t do this.

oh man you are right, didnt know it was only theatres, my bad. Highly unlikely that there is much difference between it and the bluray release tho

Sad reality bro, sad reality, some of the biggest racists may be the biggest fans of aot and it’ll just fly all over their head 😂

To be honest, thinking about AOT in the past year has been painful and hard because what's unfolding in real life and how it feels like the series is all too accurate in its assessments of human nature and history. In times like these, a voice like yours that can read and analyse stories with maturity and thoughtfulness is a great salve. Thanks for doing what you do.

2024-11-02 16:12:36 +0000 UTCI think I may have seen some of this myself on a AoT subreddit about you, it is a common trait of extreme fans seeking validation and any hint of someone not vibing or liking the thing they adore - to the point of deluding themselves that it is true, causes some type of defensive or protective (sometimes nasty) approach to cope. Very common in the realm of K-Pop in which I have experienced these insane individuals. You can clear all this up when AoT uploads resume again, it is just unfortunate, and you really can't do anything about this crazy people. Keep on keeping on, Im!!
