The Secret Beneath - Chapter 1

The Secret Beneath is the title to my mermaid story. Some info on the story:
Genre: Suspense (with some light horror elements)
Word Count: 20,494 words total
My last Patreon post has my schedule for how I'll be publishing the chapters serially. I have the PDF for the first chapter attached, as well as a link to an unlisted youtube video with the audio for anyone that is visually impaired or those who will find the audio convenient for any reason. I want to be clear, the audio is NOT audiobook quality. I don't have my old audiobook mic or studio anymore, one of the characters is Australian but I didn't attempt the accent (you're welcome aussies), not a lot of audio editing, etc. Just think of it more as a reading.
Anyway, the first chapter is more set up, but I'm really excited for you guys to get into the story. I really hope you guys enjoy it!
