[CGMZ] Reputations

Hi all,

Today we have a plugin that creates a reputation system. It has some special features when tracking actors, but you can create as many categories as you wish and even have reputations for things like factions / locations / whatever else you want. Each reputation supports multiple ranks, a description, and an image (which can display above or below the description).

Planned features that are not yet in this version of the plugin: Ability to have negative ranks that count down instead of up (such as a hated rank from -1000 to 0 where the progress bar becomes less filled over time the more negative a player is).

Update October 28, 2021: You can now change the reputation description/image with plugin command. You can also choose to display actor profiles for reputations that track actors.

Update March 3, 2022: This plugin is now in Beta! New things added for beta include:

• Calling a common event on reputation rank up/down

• CGMZ Toast Manager integration for reputation rank up/down

• Ability to hide undiscovered reputations completely

Update March 6, 2023: This plugin has been updated to allow more control over the reputation toasts. You can now choose a windowskin tone, change the background style, change the pitch/pan/volume of the SE, and set a custom width for the toasts. This is part of me going through my plugins and updating the toast parameters in each to keep up with the updates to my Toast Manager.

This update adds the familiar Display Info parameter, allowing you to drag and drop to re-order pieces of information in the reputation scene. It also allows you to easily remove any piece of info you don't want to display in the scene. As a result, some options for the order of information displayed were removed as the new Display Info parameter handles these options instead.

This update also added control over the scene background image, and window windowskins, padding, back opacity, and tone. This also standardized the toast parameter, which meant adding height and windowskin options to the toast parameters.

This update changed a lot about how data was stored in the plugin internally. As a result, there is less save data (previously everything about reputations was saved), allowing you to change more parameters and have their changes be reflected in saved games. Due to the way data is stored internally changed, I also took the opportunity to clean up some of the plugin parameters. You can now use the built-in color and icon selectors while choosing a color or icon, for example. As a side effect of this, you will need to reset your toast parameters, reputation rank parameters, reputation pictures, and color parameters after updating.

Before updating, you may want to back up your existing parameters and read the Update Notes section of the plugin help file to understand what you need to do to get your old parameters working with the new version.
