2025-03-14 13:08:21 +0000 UTCNobody else mentioned so I guess I will say, the unknown face in the Zoldick chart appeared once in the manga before this in a single panel and that is it. He is Zeno's grandfather and he is about Netero's age. There is literally no other information about him before that point in the manga, I believe. He is often called "Maha" because an old databook named him such. The same databook has many information that turned out to be just wrong, so it is hard to tell if this is his real name or not.

2025-02-28 14:34:26 +0000 UTCConsidering that Alluka is either canonically trans or at the very least an allegory for being trans, her conversation with Killua this episode is both beautiful but heartbreaking for me. The idea that your very existance is a problem is hammered home to trans people almost everyday now, that if they just didn't try to live that other people wouldn't have to suffer their existance. Killua's affirmation to Alluka is the single best rejection to that I can imagine, as he doesn't care about what she is but who she is and how he loves her unconditionally regardless. It's our connections and the love we foster in our lives that is truly important, not how we're born. The fact Togashi decided to include this in his story will forever make him the undisputed GOAT in my eyes.

That one time in this episode where you feel a hard cut between Killua's car ride and the announcement of the 16 hunters I always thought that Killua was watching these 16 hunters announcement on his tablet. We just saw it through his eyes glued to the tablet. That's why it felt natural to me. Hisoka/Illumi relationship is just super fun to watch. Here since day 1 haha

2025-02-28 07:21:42 +0000 UTCI suppose ill be the one to bite the bullet but, during the hisoka and illumi scene on the cliff the original translation of hisoka threatening killuas life actually uses the verb "to do" which could be implied as either killing or having sexual intercourse with, however his hand gesture seems to point to the latter. So essentially hisoka threatened to r*** killua to illumis face. Im honestly still not sure how to feel about this to this day, even if it is perhaps somewhat on brand for hisoka. Curious on others thoughts though.

In the scene showcasing Hisoka's toys an animator/colorist actually messed up and colored Silva as Machi, You can even tell by his design and placement in the box it's meant to be Silva.

Such an awesome episode that illumi moment is everything. So twisted his love for his brother. And the fact he thinks killua actually loves him back is so insane to think about.
