2025-10-13 07:15:39 +0000 UTCIn a word to describe this episode, powerful. In many respects, the experience watching this episode almost feels closer to that of a horror than anything else. It wouldn't surprise me if the amount of grinding my teeth I did watching this episode did me a permanent disservice! Some nit-picks for sure, as you mentioned, but in the grand scheme of things, I think they can be forgiven in the need to make way for the overarching events and themes of this episode (specifically, whilst it's a bit far-fetched that a neighbour could walk in on that scene with Okabe and Moeka and just assume that everything's fine, it'd have been just as far-fetched for absolutely no-one to notice any of the noise coming from that apartment, and I'm sure that setting aside a part of this episode for Okarin to explain away or avoid that situation would have also not been to the benefit of the episode overall, so, I'll let it slide). That aside, certainly one of my favourite episodes, in no small part owing to Gotou Saori's performance as Moeka, her performance here is one that's stuck with me since I first experienced it
