It is currently against the TOS to extract material / make a transparent background in Inkarnate. Regarding the multi-level maps, I tend to do those only when necessary. I know some people would rather have anything on the same map than juggle between several layers. If you are using Foundry, I know the Levels module let you teleport tokens from one part of a map to another. This would allow fluent movement between the decks for example.

Hello! I know this is old, but do you post maps like this with the ships broken out independently, without the water background as PNGs? I usually transplant them onto other maps or create multilevel maps, or just space out the decks. Thanks!
