Adventure - A Gift from Beyond (5e compatible)

I started writing for TTRPGs five years ago for Call of Cthulhu, before switching to D&D. The setting is voluntarily vague to let you insert this module wherever you please !
In this adventure, characters find themselves in a remote woodland where they are tasked to discover the location of a fallen meteor and bring it back to their employer : a wizard named Valbilodemus.
Characters may follow various leads and encounter the bizarre inhabitants of the Shimmering Woods. As they investigate, they might notice that something is afoot. Not only the meteor has ill effects on the whole area as it slowly turns the plants and creatures into otherworldly monstrosities, but their employer seems to be more than he pretends.
This adventure is suitable for a party of 3-5 characters of 3rd level.
