Adventure - The Rose has its thorns (5e compatible)

In this adventure, characters are tasked to explore a remote castle lodged in a mountain range. The knights whose castle belonged too fled in a hurry and are now tracked down by the local duke, Aethred of Blackburn. His spies led the duke to think the knights’ treasure was still in the castle, although it is probably protected by guards and wards. Besides the Order’s treasure, Aethred covets a legendary sword found eons ago by the founding father of the knightly order : Viglair. The last adventuring party did not come back and guards were thus sent to prevent anyone from entering.

Characters may explore the old castle at leisure in order to complete their task. They must be ready to face dangerous foes, unlock strange mechanisms and uncover the ancient secrets of the Order of the Rampant Rose.

This adventure is suitable for a party of 4-5 characters of 6th level. Expect a playtime of four to six hours.
