Narrative

The Icerunner had a fierce captain and an even more formidable crew. The weather was unchained, terrors from the deep could swarm the bridge at any time, and no star would guide its course from the darened sky. Nevertheless, the contact between the frozen northern towns would remain unsevered and the mercantile necessities would remain unaltered... until one day, the Icerunner never reached its port. Some said the storm finally got the best of her crew, others that some unfathomable beastie from the cold abyss took her by surprise. No, the truth was both far more unnerving and simpler than that.
