2025-07-30 18:03:15 +0000 UTCCatelyn Stark didn’t really have a choice. The Karstarks wanted revenge for the son Jaime killed, and Robb wasn’t there. Jaime would’ve probably been executed that night, and if he died, any chance of getting Sansa (and Arya) back would’ve died with him. So she took a huge risk, but at that point, it felt like the only option she had to try and protect the girls.
