I'm just going to start making my update times approximate rather than exact, as shit seems to happen a lot. My sister somehow managed to fuck up goulash of all things and gave the whole family food poisoning when I went to visit, so that was a solid day I lost. Sorry about that.

I am on hour 30 or so of no sleep so the end might be a little rough, and it might take me a bit to approve suggestions because I'm grabbing a nap. Remember to keep the editing suggestions to reasonable stuff

Congrats on hitting number 6 most reviewed Pokémon story on ffn

You're not wrong Kauris, but I think it's a pacing issue too, not just people disliking Corvi. There's been quite a few Corvi POVs now and it's been moving along kind of slowly compared to what Lee and co have been up to. They went through the valley of steel, evolved vulpix to ninetales, tested ninetales new powers, dealt with the sudden fame because of it, fought two gym leaders, spoke with Steven, kept an eye on Courtney, gym leader reactions, lab logs, and more... Compared to Corvi who flew somewhere random, got angry at a Swellow, and spent multiple POVs with Wally and Kirlia with no real progression. Only now is Corvi's side of the story getting anywhere, but I imagine for some people it's taken too long so interest in him has waned. That's how it is for me anyways.

Eternal Dreamer

Yes he acts like a newbie trainer but he tends to remember species he’s battled

Tank45

Maybe having found out that he as been treated as a child his whole career, finally forced him to do some character development. Or He takes Pokédex entries as fact and is reacting according to the curse. Or he knows that curse are real seeing how he has been stuck as a 10 year old for who knows how long.

VexedGamer

Corvi radiates so much angst in this chapter, makes me look forward to the resolution with very little patience and much expectation.

Evelyn Antoinette

I am in disagreement with Mr Thomas above. I love how real Corvi feels. He's not as smart as he thinks he is. He's raw. He's hurting. He's making bad judgement calls due to the pain. I'm really eager to see how this turns out.

K

Medicham does the Lord's work.

Voligne

Its a running joke in the series that despite being a pokemon trainer for many many seasons, ash always acts like a newbie trainer.

Orion Dye

Pretty sure Birch never made champion, as I recall Brandon's chapter highlighted the blow back his father got over Not pushing his battling career as far as the general public thought he could have, he had the talent of a champ, but not the drive.

Alec

Pretty sure Ash has seen a 9Tales before.

Tank45

To be honest, I'm getting tired with the whole Corvi plotline. The only thing it has accomplished is making dislike a character I previously liked. I'm really not looking forward to Corvi's eventual return to the team. An amazing chapter otherwise ! I really enjoy those little slice of life moments

Thomas dupre

Yep, Corvi is such a lovely glass of piss and vinegar. A much needed contrast and balance. On medicham, I like the no-nonsense approach they take with Corvi. I just wish I could update my mental image of Medicham as a species. They've always looked so derpy to me, I can't shake it.

Russell Todd

Didn't think of him as the Ace. Maybe I need to start a reread

Hazel Kings

He’s the Ace of someone who made champion. I figured ye was a beast from the beginning.

Orion Dye

Man that meeting with Ash ketchum totally broke my suspension of disbelief. He knew what a Ninetails was, totally unbelievable! He should have asked Lee what that pokemon was and had to have brok explain it to him like he’s a child whose never seen one before, including the whole Vulpix evolution. 0/10 Ash is too competent by half.

Orion Dye

If I went into that shop unprepared, I would shit. If I'm not alone in that, it might explain the proprietress' disdain for customers.

Russell Todd

Glad to get a bit of Corvi coming back into the story! Didn't think Medicham would be such a badass

Hazel Kings

Great chapter, the dress sounds beautiful. I wish it was battle capable. In their contest battle they should go for something Okami-inspired. Have flower seeds that grow with heat, have her howl at the sky, and then have the seeds burst open into flowers.

Anonykor

Love it! Always hungry for more but with the other authors and creators I support I will share the same things that I have heard the creators themselves struggle to internalize but eventually endorse for themselves and others. I will always support less quantity for higher quality especially if it also benefits the mental and physical health of the creator. It's silly to work yourself to the bone in order to produce something especially if it means you can't sustain it, that wouldn't make anyone happy in the long run.

Doodlyboy15

Damn, Corvi was straight up going to brutally maul a child if it werent for Nigel's ace tracking him down and slapping his shit for hurting Lee. Also, was that a flash of sympathy I spot? Oh my oh my~

Planetace

Nice to see Corvi finally getting slapped
