Poll Results

Heya everyone.

The poll I posed with the State of the Patreon post ended, and the results are in. Across 400 votes (Nearly half of you responded. Hot damn.), the break down is below.

13% Like the way things are done now.

57% Want more rewards, but for them to be the same for every tier.

31% Want more rewards for higher tiers.

The opinions of the Discord subscribers seemed to follow a similar pattern. I got their feedback directly in the server.

The one thing that is very clear here is that most of you think the way we do things right now isn't sufficient, and after sleeping on it, I agree. Staggering out updates across all the tiers sounds like a bit of a pain, so I'm weighing the pros and cons of one or two advance chapters for everyone, and the higher tiers getting other bonuses to go along with the extra chapters. I'll keep you all up-to-date on that.

There were also a lot of great suggestions as well as encouragement in the comments. I'm caught up on everything, and once more, I have no idea how I managed to land a community as good as you all. Seriously. I've got the suggestions that were given out written down, and I'll see if any of them fit into the plans going forward.

Onto other things, the 8-to-whenever-done schedule is working pretty well. My quota for today is done, and I'm expecting that update to be before the 31st for paid members. Hang tight.

Oh, and this post is public so everyone can know what to expect going forward.

Thankee much,
Fuggmann.

"I have no idea how I managed to land a community as good as you all" - creating something that touches people's souls tends to do that. For higher tiers, if providing extra writing doesn't seem possible, I'd say either art suggested by patreons at those tiers, or allowing them to vote on side pieces/choice of arcs could be an option.

You could do discord sessions with the higher tier where you do a writing discussion once a month, see if it can help generate ideas when you have a bit of a writing block
