Hi, I believe this is a bug with the latest versions of Minecraft Bedrock. You can report the bug in detail on the official website: https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MCPE Some people have also reported the same issue with high resolution packs. I'll be on for 10 sec if that building and doing stuff and it freezes and red screen then craches. Is there a fix or is that a current issue?

Hello, unfortunately ray tracing does not support PBR for items like Java shaders. This is why iron tools have no reflections.

Hi, textures emit light per pixel in Bedrock ray tracing, so the texture needs to be changed to emit light. This texture will be added soon in an update.

Hi I noticed that fire and campfires do not illuminate the enviroment.

This is caused by the way the game loads textures, but generally doesn't affect anything. You can also enable the option that removes the memory limit for textures in the video settings.

I recommend Bliss for the Java edition of the game. The pack from this post is only for Bedrock and uses the ray tracing feature.

Are you playing Java or Bedrock? The version of this post is for Bedrock only. The Java version is available in their respective posts by resolution.

I'm glad you liked it! We will continue to update and add new textures to this pack. The curtain blocks all light because Minecraft Bedrock's ray tracing implementation does not support subsurface scattering, which would cause some of the light to pass through the fabric (if that's what you meant). For now we have no plans to make a resolution higher than 256x for this version of the pack, but there is still a chance of that in the future.

I am using it on a real server and it works quite well, although sometimes a little laggy, approximately in a world with 20 mods, I was surprised that it is compatible with Fortnite, for example, when I place curtains on a window and they close, the The light that should come in is blocked by the curtains, if I open them the light comes back in, I look forward to future updates and more blocks, the x256 looks very good and if a higher resolution were possible in the future it would be great, possibly for one more tier high for the work it must carry.

For some reason, when you put glass on top of water and surrounding it (like a house), it looks great from the outside but on the inside (of the house) its really dark.

v1.39 when I downloaded from here was an MCPACK now 1.41 is a zip file and it's now showing up when I put it in my resource packs section it's not showing up as available to use in 1.20.4 so I'm still rocking with v1.39

I'm glad you liked it! For now the maximum resolution is 256x256, but we can make a higher resolution in the future. Campfires do not emit light as their texture has not yet been changed. The light emission is directly linked to the texture that is applied to the block.

Loving this a lot! higher then 256 would be awesome since i have the computing power. An my campfires are not light the space. Not sure that ModernArch or the version of betterRTX i'm using. Any pointers would be helpfull.

This has a lot of potential. I would like to see ores glow and higher than 256 at some point but it's looking wonderful for still in progression.

The pack is still in development, so not all textures have been added yet. Textures that have not been changed cannot emit light with RTX enabled. New content is added every week with updates.

For now the maximum resolution is 256x256. Maybe we'll release a higher resolution in the future, but I can't guarantee that yet.

Can the name of the pack be updated in-game with the version number when viewing it under global resources? This way, we can easily distinguish between the new and old packs.

Honestly I'm not sure what this could be. Ray tracing in Minecraft bedrock has been neglected by Mojang for a long time, it's probably another bug that they don't care about solving. If I find any clues as to what could be causing this, I will update you.

I figured it somehow: there is an issue with the officially proposed Skyblock Map - on a bedrock Realm. Playing locally (with an Update of the Skyblock Map) shows oak tree blocks normally. Maybe you do have a clue, how to fix my current Realm Skyblock Map - as I do not really want to restart? ;-)

For now the highest resolution available for bedrock is 256x256, but we may do 512x resolution in the future as well. However, no plans yet.

This resource pack was made for the Windows version of Minecraft Bedrock, as it is the only version of the game compatible with ray tracing, unfortunately.

Removed all packs, reinstalled Minecraft then reinstalled your pack using the same installer. Doesn't say 128x128 anymore and seems more crisp. Thank you 😊

Did you look in the My Packs section after you installed the 256x256 to see if it isn't there? If it isn't, I have no idea what could be going on. Try uninstalling the 128x128 and reinstalling just the 256x256.

Hey Designio, I was wondering when you did the RTX screenshots, is there even a way that, if I took the screenshots for the RTX bedrock and Java Screenshots , but if I did that, would you lend me a Laptop that is capable of taking those screenshots for both editions? Most likely a no, but if there's a way to make that happen, please let me know.

I just tested the link and it's working normally. The invite link is not discord.gg/minecraft-rtx, I shortened it to make it simpler. When you click on it, the real link (https://discord.gg/minecraft-rtx-691547840463241267) takes you to the server. But now I decided to change it to not confuse people =)
