Quick Update

Hey guys, so here's the deal: This month I have two workloads I can choose, Write Karnal's story or start on Sound effects searching. Sound effects will work mostly for sex Scenes to help the player to have some immersion them, but also could help with a few jokes here and there. 

The structure I need is something like this:

• Find the Sound Effects that are Royalty-Free.
• Start Programming the SFX setup in the game.
• Add another function to the day reader to grab any SFX inside a day.JSON
• Add a slider for SFX on the options menu.
• Create a list with the exact names and file extensions of each SFX together with their path in-game.
• Make a new section in the Day Editor to add SFX, read the existing ones, and make sure the information is saved on the dialog that needs that.
• Make sure that the SFX is working when it's called in-game. This is a battery of tests and takes some time.

The SFX would take around two or three months in total for me to do everything. Maybe less, it depends on how fast or easy it is to implement in the game, and apart from Image Filtering, and Image movement for cutscenes, the SFX is the last thing to be added in the game via code.

Now here's the thing: I've got sick from day 1 this month, so much I've spent my entire past week in bed, I tried to work but I was having a lot of fever and headaches, it was impossible to deal with. I'm still not feeling 100% right now, but with this, I've lost almost 10 days out of my workload, and this month already is the shortest month. 

I don't think I can make a Karnal route without compromising the quality to deliver it soon for you all, so I'm going to stick with the SFX. This month I will focus on finding them and programming the game to recognize them and play them independently from the music. This should take me at least two weeks.

And as a way to give you all something this month, if I'm able to do all of this, I will add an extra section in the Gallery where you can play the Sound Effects, to test them. I still need to think about how to do that without disrupting the current objects there, but we'll see.

If during development I can achieve something visually interesting I'll be making a development update for you all. 

If any Suggested Corrections are sent to me, I will apply them and release an updated alpha with the new text, new patrons, and updated Correction Team credits. 

So for this month, I won't be giving any new story updates.

I'm sure in two or three days more I'll be better, but if I get worse again I will update you all here nonetheless.
