Quick Update!

I'm here just to tell you all the results of this month's Workload poll, available only for Tier 3+ patrons to vote. 

For now, Johan's route won the poll again, which makes me happy because I do want to write MORE about him for a while, he's a nice character. It's nice to be able to write about a character I don't need to worry too much about making him the most amazing guy or the biggest most annoying fucker in town because he's mine to do as I please. Of course, I already have his personality written down so I'll make sure he doesn't go too far from that, but I can guarantee you all he's the most complex out of the three characters. 


About artworks, backgrounds, etc: I do not know when I'll be able to fetch more of them for a while, but I am searching for possibilities, from learning how to create 3D scenarios, adding shaders, and creating static images out of that to add in the game instead of the current drawings we have for example (to speed up the scenarios at least and take away most of the real world pictures the game has), to checking other artists to work on the cutscenes (if possible of course), to talking to Wagner and seeing what he wants to do going forward, a lot is going on in the background. However, the main focus of the art department is to finish giving Johan his facial expressions and one new sprite (a swimming suit). After that, I'll have to see, since prices are changing and all of that.


Music: I was able to grab some paid music packs for games but there's like a LOT of music for me to check and most of them don't fit what I think this game needs. However: Even if I add new music to the game, I will still leave the old versions on the gallery for anyone to listen, and every artist who created that awesome royalty-free content will be credited to the game forever. I'm not into not crediting other people's work. 


Sound Effects: To tell you the truth, there are a lot of places in the game where Sound Effects are needed, such as characters walking away from you in the sand and so on, but I still need to fetch these sounds AND I would need to manually go through every single route again reading them slowly and adding those sound effects to each character, one by one. That's a lot of work, so it will take a long time for me to do, it's possible, but I need to find the sound effects first, right? Anyway, they will be in the game one day, I promise!


For now, there are some updates I want to do in the game, such as adding (eventually) a small window in the title screen that keeps showing the names of Tier 4 and Tier 3 patrons of the month constantly just to give these people who pay more to be here a bit more flair in the game (the Tier 2 and 1 patrons will always be in the credits though, so don't worry about that), After all there's not a LOT of rewards for them especially Tier 4 patrons, so if I can give them something extra I will. But for now, this is a thing for the future in my free time, there are a lot of things to do and I want to focus more on Johan's second part of his first routes!
