Quick Development Update!

- It took a bit longer than I expected to iron out all the issues and bugs and most of all to read all of the script. The first playable day in the game is quite huge actually.
- I just finished the First Day (or Second Day in-game). All three routes, Wagner, Karnal, and Johan have now Sound Effects and music and ambiance playing. I want to point out that if the map changes areas and the ambiance sound doesn't start (The hotel doesn't have Ambiance sound apart from the Cafeteria/Restaurant for now), please report that dialog with the "suggest correction box" which is one of the buttons on top of the dialog box. There all you need is to replace the entire text with the following warning: Missing Music/Ambiance/SFX sound. And I can check real quick where it's missing.
- Day2.JSON (Third Day) sadly wasn't possible to update, sorry guys, a lot of bad things happened this month:
1 - My PC became unstable out of Nowhere and I thought it was the MoBo (Mother Board), so I spent all of my credit card on buying a new one (in installments, tech pieces are expensive here).
2 - While the MoBo was coming to me, I kept trying to work but the system was way too unstable. No one knows if it became unstable because of some power outage or something else. Once the MoBo arrived three days after I got it, I discovered two new things:
The MoBo was not the issue, it was the CPU. But the previous MoBo was also very much broken in most parts so I had to replace it too.
The CPU I had was also NOT compatible with the new MoBo, so I stored the Mobo and asked two friends for help, they both supported me and gave me some money that helped me get a new CPU. I had to settle for a Cheap CPU that was at the very least an upgrade, but I literally couldn't spend enough to grab a Ryzen 5 5600G (which is the best I could get from the AM4 chipset), so I settled for a Ryzen 5 4500 which is not the best but it is 20% faster than my previous chip.
3 - I spent an entire day putting all the pieces together, and around four to five days only to check all files, backups, restore all the data I needed, etc from a clean install of Windows which is a very slow and painful process until everything is working as it's intended.
These issues made me lose almost seven days of work, sadly. Because of that, the next build will have only the Day1.JSON done with sound effects. Everything from the Third Day onward in-game is not updated yet.
What is added to the build then:
- Sound Effects and Ambiance Effects are implemented on an internal level.
- Day 0 and Day 1.JSON are fully updated with these sound effects. But if anything doesn't start correctly just report via the suggest correction button.
- The configurations menu is now updated to allow you to change the volumes of all three sounds (SFX, Ambiance, and Music).
- I updated the Theming of the game so at least the Config menu is now more consistent (I still need to check other areas that have a scroll to make sure it's updated but that's from another build).
- I Changed or fixed some dialogs in all routes, especially Wagner and KArnal. I am thinking of Re-working them one of these days.
- The Roadmap will have some new options listed for Patrons to vote on as Tier 3 such as: Updating Karnal and Wagner routes for Day 2.JSON, (Individually, but if possible both at the same time), and two new options: Re-write the first day for Wagner and for Karnal. This will not change their overall size, but it will sure be an improvement seeing my English is way better now than it was three years ago when I started working on this game alone.
There are a LOT of things I want to do for this game but for today I'm gonna rest. Tomorrow I'll be adding all new information to the game, new patrons, update credits, add changelog stuff and roadmap things, etc. And those things take time. So tomorrow (27) the Build 0.57 will be available for you Tier 2 patrons to check it out.
And for my tier 1 patrons, know that by the first or second day of May, I'll be adding the earlier version of the public build for you guys to test (Protected with a password), it's the same build that will be added in June of this year for the public on Itch/io. So I hope you guys enjoy it too. This is a perk I should have thought from the very beginning for Tier 1 patrons, but it only came to my mind now, and I'm sorry. Some of you have been Tier 1 patrons of mine for years now, so at the very least you deserve to play the public build a few months earlier, right?
For now, that's it. I'm very, very tired and I may have misspelled stuff, and for that, I am terribly sorry. I promise though that I'm making sure no spelling errors go inside the game and whenever I find them I tend to fix them. If you do find them though remember you can use the Suggest Correction button in-game to send the correct spelled text for me, if that's accepted your name will go to the Correction Team under the credits.
