Monthly Thanks Message #April 2024

Hey guys, since there's this new thing on Patreon about the website removing the tag of what tier you're currently in IF you cancel your tier, (You're shown as a paid free member for some ridiculous reason), I created a new section for Free members. I've done this because Patreon doesn't save a "history" of previous tiers, I need to check how much you paid for the month and suppose what tier you're in based on that.

That's why I did this, so it wouldn't take too much time out of my busy schedule. But hey, if you guys complain about Patreon support, maybe they will start treating creators a bit better because everything that is happening recently here is just making people consider creating other pages.

I myself, am thinking of creating a Subscribestar, the reason is simple: Paypal is slowly fucking us Brazilians, they don't even let us keep the money in our balance nor do they allow us to take out the money anytime we want, we need to wait for them to decide in their arbitrary time when they will send our money to our bank account.

Subscribestar at least works with Wise, and Wise has a way smaller tax (7-10% Paypal vs 1% Wise), and of course, Patreon itself always takes around 5-10% of the money we get for them (One of the reasons it's impossible to issue a refund sometimes).

 So yeah, sorry for this little thing, I'm terribly sorry for all my patrons who paid and are now listed as Free members even fi they PAID for this month, again this is a thing, a choice the team from Patreon decided without a care in the world, just to make creator's lives harder.

Anyway, thank you all for your support this month. Especially to Tiers 3 and 4. You guys are helping me a HUGE lot, and I can barely give you something back. Artwork comes slowly, after all, and my tier 4 patrons still have to wait quite a while until the ebook versions of the game are released. But I will keep working, because the more money I make here, the more I can save up to buy more art for the game. Writing this game is my passion, and I want to produce more Visual novels with more and more quality for all of you after this one! :) That's why this patreon page have my name, not the game name. :)

Thank you all my Tier 2 and 1 patrons too. You guys are the best.

Now I gotta go prepare myself for my 10-hour trip to get to my parent's home. I'll be bringing my backup laptop, I believe I'll be able to write a new route for you all or sweep through another day to add the sound effects on the remaining days. So don't worry, I'll be working while I'm there! :) It's only two weeks too, so I'll have a week and a half to finish the game at home and give you guys the next build!
