The name is weird, right? That's because as part of the Porting efforts to Godot 4, I didn't create the Just Friends engine, I created a Visual Novel engine instead, and Just Friends is being loaded in this engine for now. Once the engine is completed, it will be branched into a copy that is called Just Friends. And then, we'll have the game as it should be.
These are the features this new engine has:
Save, Load, and Delete.
CreditsScene.
The Main Menu contains Credits, Changelog, and Roadmap windows available.
Security system so you can't load older saves on newer builds, nor newer saves on too old builds too.
Skip a system that is disabled by default.
A help menu to explain how certain features work.
Multiple characters can be shown on screen if necessary.
Log Window that shows up to 100 messages and decisions.
More than four decisions could be added if needed.
The main menu contains all patrons who supported the build for the month (as long as the patrons are not listed as free for some reason, the code is automatic).
What this build does not have compared to the previous:
Gallery
Theming
Johan's last three routes.

What updates were done to the scrips to work on this build:
Most calls are handled differently, anything that is not a dialog is now a command.
Day 2.JSON (Day 3) had to be completely re-structured or it would leave you all in an infinite loop, now the routes for Karnal and Wagner are divided into sub-routes.
Instead of 1stact, 2ndact, 3rdact, now both characters have: 1stact, 1stact/part2, 2ndact, 2ndact/part2, 3rdact, 3rdact/part2 and 3rdact/final. This ensures that every route works right.
What are the following features that will be added:
The changelog itself should give you a list, but for now, working on the Gallery, branching the game to Just Friends, and pushing Johan's last three routes into the game is a priority.
I also want to thank you all for your support. The new builds will have this new window thanking you all for your help. The code is automatic, so your name will only be there if you're classified by Patreon as a Paid Member. If you notice that your name is not in the build but you supported me BEFORE I released the build, please send me a message and I'll add your name manually. Once patrons Delete their pledges, Patreon removes them from the Tier they paid and lists them as Free members, my code ignores free members because there's no way for me to know what Tier you are just by the CSV file. Then I will need to manually look at how much you paid to assert what tier you are. If you want to avoid that, try to delete your pledge by the last day of the month. I usually release my builds by Day 28 or 29. So every day 30 you can delete your pledge because by that time your name will be there in the list. Sorry about that but the system was made like this to automate the process since I will probably have to work twice as much now given the fact I only have one screen to deal with multiple windows.
