The next build of the game will probably be the last one you'll see with the "Visual Novel Core Engine" title in it. As soon as I finish the Gallery system for it, it's done. I'll branch the game into Just Friends finally.

I want you all to remember that when you cancel your membership, you still have access to content here, however, I can't see your tier anymore. You're classified as a Free member.

When it's just five or six people who do that, I can try to check how much they paid the month, and sometimes convert depending on their currency, to see what tier they are. Yes, Patreon SADLY made it so much HARDER to see what tier you are. They could add "Tier 2 - Free" for example, I would AT LEAST know you're still a Tier 2 who canceled your subscription for the next month, and it's fine! But since it erases your tier completely, it's kinda hard when it's more than 10 people who do so. As long as I can check, I'll make sure you get your build, but if you don't, remember to ask me, okay? I always make a post here saying the build is released.

But the other problem this creates is that the Monthly Thanks Patrons on the Title Screen work automatically. I downloaded the CSV file from here with only the Current Active Patrons (be it free or not, if you paid you're active), but the list only lists the Tier, not the Free.

So, you would not appear on the game's title screen Thank you for making it possible to release another build that month. If that's okay with you I'm down with it, but if it's not, I do recommend only canceling your subscription by the end of the month, around Day 29 or 30.

Most of you only cancel because you're not sure you can support again, but after a while, you come back, and I am thankful for that too. Truth be told, Just Friends needs way more active patrons, I really want to buy more art, I just paid for Johan's new set of expressions, so it may take a while for them to be done, but then I need to start saving again, and yeah, it takes time.

I'm so, so sorry for that. Believe me, if I had another source of income, I would be filling you all here with lots of cool art and even music! But yeah. Like if harsh, not only for me but for all of you as well.

That's why I want to thank you all again, and gain, and again. For staying with me, for supporting me, some of you even doubling your pledge to support me more, it means the whole world to me. IT's thanks to your kindness that I'm not homeless or starving.

And if you're not an active patron, here's my pledge to you: If it's not too much to ask, please consider supporting me as a Tier 1+ patron. Tier 0 does exist, but I would get only 50 cents out of it. So yeah. Still, any tier would help, but Tier 1 would push your name permanently on the game's build credits, AND it would also push your name to the Tier 1 spot in the title screen. You may not be able to play that build, but you will be credited for supporting that build during that month! Tier 1 patrons do get the NEXT public patron build every six months, while the public only gets the next build every year, so, you will still be a LOT of builds ahead of the general public, while not as up-to-date as a Tier 2+ patron.

So please consider supporting me. And if you're a Tier 1 patron and don't have the next public build yet, you can just ask me and I'll send you the link and password for it. Currently, the Tier 1 Public Build available is... 0.58.0.35. And the Next one will be available by July, which is... 0.63! Just so you know, Build 0.58 will only be available for the public in December 2025, while 0.63 will only be available by December 2026. So yeah, Tier 1 patrons will get way ahead.
