Development Update: Theming done!

Hello there guys. First of all thank you all for supporting me this month! 40 patrons in total is a good number! I'll keep on saving as much money as I can to keep investing in Just Friends be it by buying music or music packs and more artwork for it!

I finished the theming for just Friends on Godot 4. NOW, I only need to push the remaining missing routes for Johan! :D

In the future I may change the Message-Log window, for now I'm trying to keep the menus design consistent, which is: A Black box with 30% transparency that locks all inputs to be on top of anything else and behind everything from the new menu, a blue box for the body and pink buttons or panels for the content.

One of the things that Just Friends lost for now is the stripped effect the original had. Sadly I don't know how to recreate that, but I could try to make the dialog box use an actual texture instead of Godot's Styleboxes. But for now, I think it looks quite nice, don't you think?

Now I will go back to work.

If you're a free member, it would mean the world to me if you decided to subscribe for this month or a few months too, not only I'm kinda needing some more money for health issues right now, it would also benefit the project immensely. But remember: You can play the free builds that are updated every year on itch io.

By July, a new "Tier 1 Public build early release preview" will be available for Tier 1 patrons, right now tier 1 patrons have access to the next Public build a year ahead, and soon they will be two builds ahead of the public! :)

And finally: As a side note, depending on how much the USD falls down or not in the foreseeable future, I may have to change the pricing for Tier 1 to 4 to a couple more bucks, I'm not going to do it UNLESS I end up making 40% less than what I do with the same amount I make right now. If that comes to pass, then I will change the tiers accordingly:

Tier 1: 4 or 5 USD.

Tier 2: 8 or 9 USD.

Tier 3: 12 or 14 USD.

Tier 4: 20 or 22 USD.

I don't intend to raise more than 2 USD per tier, and Tier 4 will probably remain at 20 since that is more of a "Here, let me help you a bit more" tier. And this is a change that will only happen IS the dollar goes down by 40%¨and I start struggling to survive with the money I make here.

But don't worry I am also seeing if I can start another project, so maybe I'll start making a lot of money, enough to even boost Just Friends the way I want to! :)
