Making of "Redshirting"

The comic went through quite a few tweaks, from frame arrangement at the beginning to slight color and script changes at the end.
I had a lot of fun designing the Star Trek characters for this one. I hope I'll be able to find an excuse to use them again! :) As you can see here, Bones was briefly a grumpy goat, but I worried the long face made him a bit too Spockish, so I changed him to a toad.
The kid was originally going to be being vaporized by a Gorn (a classic Star Trek baddie) but I preferred the composition of the big monster.
