The Making of "Use Your Head"

This was the winning tweet from my "Turn Your Tweet into a Comic" contest. I was having a hard time getting started, so my wonderful husband (GhostHause) stepped in and did the initial layout to get me going. It did the trick! :)
I wanted to preserve the tweet in it's entirety, but the last panel/line just wasn't working for me -having the dad being reduced to a naughty schoolboy seemed funnier visually.
I went with my husband's walrus principal, but as preschools are usually run by women, I tried making her female (apparently the do still have tusks, just smaller ones!) I found the result too distracting, so I went in another direction with a "mama bear" -maternal, but scary!
By losing the last panel, I had room for a 3rd beaten up child. I made a point of having them all look adorable/weedy, to add to dad cats embarrassment. I loved the durpy turtle character my husband did, so I didn't change him at all.
Towards the end I flipped the last panel, to have the dad face the other way, suggesting that some time had passed. I also made some changes to the dad's expression / framing in the 1st two panels to make him look more "divine".
