This one is completely aimed at World of Warcraft players and unfortunately won't make much sense to anyone else. Here's a rough translation:

Mom: "Thanks for looking after the kids for us tonight. We already put the baby to bed, you'll just need to entertain the bigger kid for a bit. He got smarter recently, so watch out that he doesn't wear you down or get too mad. If he throws a tantrum, just control him with the ipad until he gets sleepy. If the baby wakes up, keep giving him his pacifier until he goes back to sleep."

The Dad's one is a bit of a pun. In game you have armor that's resistant to various damage types, eg "fire resist gear" and a "wipe" is when all the players die -so he's doing a super nerdy dad joke. Then BBL = Be back later and GL = Good luck! :)

I don't normally draw the mom looking straight forward, but once I turned her in my 2nd pass at the roughs, I lost the intensity that I loved from the initial sketch, so I switched it back.

The dad was initially making a "Dad Joke" about the "wipe on your hands", but my husband pointed out that it would be funnier if he was being deadly serious, so right at the end I changed him, The pointing hand was too aggressive with the serious face, so I brought it down, which allowed me to move everyone over and show more of the mom and the door, which helped with the visual storytelling. Win-win!

The mouse went through quite a few changes. I had her too panicked at the start -she needed to be more at that point where she's still trying to figure out what they just said.
