Making of "Keeping Up Appearances"

Any comics that involve a lot of characters, poses, props and backgrounds are HARD to do, so you can imagine my delight when I realized quite what a task I'd set myself! :P
I experimented a lot at the beginning, testing out different layouts to see how to tell the story the best. I would have loved to keep it as 2 frames to give the 1st panel more room, but I didn't want the mom to be left out of the Easter "festivities" by having to deliver her line in the final panel.
Google image search was instrumental in research for this strip to set the correct level of cheesy. Once I had the layout down, it was just a case of tightening everything up, which took forever -I hate anatomy! :)
