I have a hard time shifting gears when I'm out with adults and especially non-parent adults.

My actual grievance for this was Puppy Dog Pals introducing a new (pointless! Boring!) puppy character -but as that show isn't terribly well known, I brainstormed with hubby about annoyances in more popular shows.

Paw Patrol was an obvious target and we'd often talked about wanting a Boston Terrier character in there as we have a Boston. I suggested the Marshall EMT angle and he wrote the rant -he's a master at internet rants haha!

After laying the text out, I quickly realized that there wasn't enough room to do the pictures justice. I wasn't about to edit the brilliant rant, so I had to break my rule and make the comic 50% longer.

The challenge in this one was showing the passage of time. I wanted it to look like she's been ranting about Paw Patrol for the entire evening. I made her drinks change, but once colored, it still wasn't quite right, so I reworked the lighting and flipped the 3rd panel to make it seem like they were moving to different venues.

I had so much fun with this one! :)
