Making of "Fall Shopping"

I cut the cord with Adobe recently and switched to Clip Studio on my PC and it's been taking some time to figure out how to do everything without Creative Cloud. I already use (and LOVE!) Clip Studio Paint on my iPad, so the adjustment hasn't been SO bad, it's just when you know you're going to have to google something, you kind of put it off.
But I've figured out animated GIF's now! So I'll be able to do these again! Huzzah!
This one was J's idea. He also suggested the cat vs dog angle, which I loved! My initial interpretation was to have the dog family scared of the cats, but after showing him my sketches, he said it would be funnier if the dogs were just baffled by the cats weird behavior. I wholeheartedly agreed, especially because the scared pose was evading me!
The shopping carts were a pain in the butt to draw. I didn't pay close enough attention to my reference pictures and made the handles really high! This made the bodies all wrong and I had to change them up quite a bit to push the corrected trolleys.
I ended up going into Target and Walmart and photographing all their halloween/fall shelves to have some reference pictures. The biggest issue with piles of "stuff" is always coloring it so that nothing gets lost. Changing the carts to red Target ones helped the grey halloween stuff "pop".
