Making of "The Lies - Part 3"
Added 2019-12-16 16:52:16 +0000 UTCI hadn't decided what Grampaw looked like yet when I roughed this out, so it's a bit confusing with 2 Dad Cats. I had swung the camera around to the other side of the table to make the 1st panel read better, but I decided it would be less confusing (and less work!) to keep the angle the same and just break that panel in two.
I was initially going to draw the mountain and cosmos backgrounds, but J managed to find some royalty free photos I could use instead. I really liked the effect (and how much easier it was!) so I might dip into photo backgrounds again in the future.
So there we have it! The end of our longest strip to date! It's been a fun ride and I'm super pleased how it came out, but I am also exhausted as this was essentially like doing 5 strips in one week!!! Whew!
Some more Christmassy ones on the way soon! :)
Oh and people keep asking "What about Grandma?!" As you saw from the last process post -I don't really know! 😅 The script was changed last minute because it was funnier being about Grandma than a pet. We might swing back around to this at some point once we decide on the answer!
