Making of "Little Jerk"

Getting the angles right on this one was challenging. I always make a point of trying to show as many faces as I can, as large as possible -because you can pack extra humor into the expressions.
My 1st rough had Vincent's face hidden and I didn't like that they weren't clearly looking at him in the last panel.
I fixed those issues in the 2nd draft, but wanted him to be doing something awful directly in front of them to really push the joke. I had him emptying a bowl of somethings on the floor, but then it dawned on me that I'd drawn Fran with her mug! Having him knock it down added a new layer of "cat joke", which really capped things off nicely.
