Motherhood hit me like a ton of bricks. My 1st was NOT a happy baby and those first few months were the hardest of my life. I had so many good intentions and ideas, pre-kids, which suddenly seemed so ridiculous once I was there!
I had always intended to stop swearing once I became a mum. Then it became "when they're old enough to pick up on it", then... well...
STORY TIME!
6yo looked over my shoulder while I was drawing this one and asked me what the “funny looking word” was. I explained that it was a way of writing a swear word without saying it and he went away, curiosity seemingly sated.
I thought that was the end of it, until he wandered back over holding a piece of paper with “FUCK!” written on it.
6yo: I think this is what she’s saying.
Me: DUDE! You *can’t* do that!
6yo: What? Did I spell it wrong?
Me: NO! -THAT’S the problem!!
Embarrassed, he tore it up so “nobody else could read it” -but you can bet after he went to bed I found those pieces of paper. That’s one for the memory box! 🤣

Drawing wise, this comic was pretty simple -except trying to draw an unfolded diaper. That proved much harder than I anticipated!
