Making of "Tonight's Forecast"

It was alright, but I'd been leaning rather heavily on them sitting at the kitchen counter and thought I could do better. I think I use the counter so much because I grew up reading Garfield. It's such a brilliant way to minimize backgrounds and hide the hard to draw bodies. It does get a bit old though!
When I circled back around to give it another go, I realized I could modify their poses from Fly to make them snuggly. Seeing that comic again gave me the idea to have them watching Cooper go back and forth for a couple of panels first.
Inking and coloring on this one was a little bit different because everything was repeated. I fully colored the 1st panel, then copied it to the second, then full colored Cooper in both. Once I had the top two complete, I copied them to the bottom ones and made slight modifications. As detailed as this looks, it ended up being my fasted comic ever to complete! :)
