Making of "Big Book O' Facts"
Added 2020-11-23 19:03:48 +0000 UTCWe were chatting about something else entirely and J suddenly stopped and said "That parasite! You should do one about that parasite that makes people love cats!" Some quick googling brought up Toxoplasmosis.
This one was pretty efficient as I had linework to adapt from previous comics. I had some trouble getting Fran to look right in the 1st panel. I hate drawing her from different angles, but I needed her changing Cooper without revealing what she was doing. I also have a rule where if I CAN show a characters face then I SHOULD, because any reaction is funnier than no reaction.
I changed the dirty diaper drawing at the last minute. I don't really know what I was thinking making it some weird bag, but Googling "holding dirty diaper stock photo" gave me the (gross) reference pics to fix it!
