My kids are pretty clear in the things they want from Santa (LEGO!) but I've seen posts from other moms trying to work out what the heck a wishlist item is.
Last year my friend's kid asked for a "full size train and bulldozer to destroy house". It was so funny I wrote it down so I could ask her if I could use it this year.
I've also seen photos of wishlists that are all crudely scribbled URLs.
I threw these 3 things together to make a comic!
Originally I had the last item on the list as "That thing I saw on TV", but J suggested "Demin Chicken" which is something Charlie wishes for in It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Even if you don't get the reference, it's still funny, so it was perfect!
I considered having the 6yo write the list for me, but a) his handwriting is still a bit hard to read and b) I couldn't risk him asking to see the "Christmas magic ruining" comic! Instead I wrote out the list, using something he'd written for reference.
