Taking process videos has proved difficult because comics usually take at least 4hrs (usually a lot more!) and aren't done all in one sitting. This results in me having a bunch of clips I have to stuck together to make a VAST video I then need to compress, which I've had a really hard time doing.
I realized early into drawing the Christmas picture that it would be faster to draw than a regular comic and therefore a good candidate to film. I'd already drawn out the 1st rough sketch, but in this video you can see me refining the lines, inking and coloring.
I tried speeding up the video more, but I rotate the page around so much it was a little nauseating! I figure having it this length you can always jump around and see how it all comes together.
Feel free to ask any questions you might have about the process! :) I use Clip Studio Paint on an iPad Pro 3 with an Apple Pencil. (HIGHLY recommend the setup and I'm not normally an Apple fan!)
