Rolling backouts have ceased, so I can get back on my computer to post this!
My friend posts photos of the clever food arrangements she makes her kid and I'm always impressed how great they look and that he actually eats them. I've seen it! It happens!

My 6yo is a very fussy eater, but to be fair, he gets it from me, so I do sympathize! :)
I can't help but imagine what would happen if I presented him this plate. He wouldn't be as rude as in the comic, nor would I meekly take it like Fran if he dared, but the end result would ultimately be the same: rejection!
I suspect all parents have felt this at some point. It might not be food, but something you've poured love and time into is rejected. It sucks. But then there's the consolation prize of posting about it and maaaybe leaving out a few details about how it was received.
I took some heat online for this one from people who took it literally (rude kid and wasting food) but the funny thing was it got a LOT of likes across all platforms! I hope that means the silent majority got what I was poking fun at! :)
