My Brain #1: I’ve been falling behind with comics lately, but I can get ahead on this one by doing a real simple bonus panel with 2 piles of dust and “Wash your dust.”

My Brain #2: Oh! Oh! I’ve got another idea!

Brain #1: Is it as easy as 2 piles of dust…?

Brain #2: Suuuuure! It’ll be REAL quick -I promise!

Brain #1: Wait a minute… 😠

Brain #2: Too late! You love it now! 😃

That's when I put the call out on Twitter .

I was somewhat restricted by the layout. I needed a big hat on the tour guide so the text would be large enough. The one taking a picture needed a flat face so it didn't get in the way and the remaining crowd member needed to fit in there without bumping into the other.

My original selection was Aarvark, Frog and Orca. I showed the sketch to J, but he said I'd lost some of the fun from the original. I looked back at it and damnit if he wasn't right!!

I had another look through the suggested animals and realized a fish in a robot suit would let me keep the dramatic gesturing arms AND make it more futuristic.

I went back to my "head camera" idea, but wanted an animal with less colors to interfere with it, so I picked a panda. I had liked the frog from before so I moved him to the other crowd member.

For the clothes, I based them heavily off The Jetsons.
