This basically happened. I WISH I could find the actual letter, but I've been searching up and down with no luck. I believe it said something along the lines of "To Mommy and Daddy, sorry for writing this." It had us chuckling at the absurd self fulfilling prophecy nature of it, but I wasn't sure if it would work as a comic.

To make things more obvious here, I added in the line about stealing the pen, which he had done, just not written about it.

The creeper placement in the last panel was done completely innocently -I was just trying to draw him how he sleeps, legs and blanket all over the place! It was only afterwards I realized how dodgy it looked, but I felt like it only supported my previous claims, so I left it in! 🤣
