Every time I get into one of these infuriating back & forths with my oldest, I think to myself what a brilliant evil genie he'd make. He delights in turning my requests around and complying -but not. It makes everything take forever and drives me nuts. Often I just end up losing my cool, but sometimes, if I have a bit more time (and patience!) I'll play along. It usually doesn't work, but it entertains me.
This comic has happened (several times) but without the genie element. I managed to crank the comic out quite quickly by bringing in art from older ones. Panel 1 is an adaption of the first panel of History Times and 3 is directly copied and pasted from the bonus of Be Cool.
I hadn't realized until I'd posted that the sock > shoe > sock > shoe order was a bit odd. I agree that doing it that way is weird, but I think when you're trying to make sure you have your bases covered, it's easier to describe in that order. Otherwise you have to keep switching up the left/rights and mistakes could creep in. Gotta make that last wish count! :)
