Making of "Candy Stash"
Added 2021-10-21 13:33:47 +0000 UTCI have a notorious sweet tooth. I don't hide my candy in the toilet, but I do squirrel it away on the higher shelves in the larder. I'll probably have to get sneakier as my kids get older, but I have read about some funny hiding places online. That gave me the inspiration for this comic.
I originally drew them hiding the candy under the sofa cushion, then she unzips it to reveal her stash inside. It wasn't completely clear what was happening though. J suggested the toilet tank instead, because it is SO ridiculous that she'd resort to prison logic. He also came up with the better phrasing for the punchline.
