My 7yo can be difficult, so I like to keep the lines of communication open with his teachers. I'd been getting a lot of not so good reports home, so I was overjoyed when this one arrived!

Brimming with pride I immediately wrote back to say how wonderful that was to hear. When he got home, I told 7yo all about how impressed his teacher was with his creative ideas. It wasn't until I fished said drawing out of his bag that the horror struck me.
He described the picture exactly as in the comic, to which I winched and asked if he'd told his teacher the same thing. "Yup!" came the cheerful response. 😬
Now to be fair, the teacher didn't actually call us in for a conference. Turns out we have yet again struck upon a cool teacher (technically, we're on our third Ms. Hoots!) I think she was just genuinely happy to see him so engaged, but it still made me laugh how wrong it could have gone.
I took some artistic liberties for the comic. I have no idea if his teacher pulled that face, but I like to think that she did, because I know I did a bit! I was going to use the face from Lookalike bonus, but I decided it warranted it's own expression.
The artwork is his scanned original, I just went in a tidied up some of the wrinkle lines (he always rolls up his art for some reason).
