Making of "Baby Prep"
Added 2022-03-21 17:21:00 +0000 UTCAfter the success of turning J's old chloroform post into a comic, I thought I'd go trawling though Facebook to see if there were any other gems to be had.
I came across these 2:
They could have stood alone, but together they would be stronger!
The drawing went surprisingly smoothly for a 6 panel -helped along by the fact I'd drawn Fran pregnant before in Best Laid Plans.
The only big change was the vibe of the last panel. I was really pleased with their conspiratorial smiles, but the wholesomeness took something away from the humor. Joel's seriousness and Fran's dumbfounded reaction just sold it more. I did save the alternative pencils though. Hopefully I'll find an excuse to add them to a comic soon!
