Making of "The Cutest"

I modified poses from previous strips, so the art for this one went blazingly fast!
People get very confused about Cooper's age -granted, it is rather confusing! My plan right now is to keep everyone the same age (Simpsons style!) but I'm not 100% sure what age that is. My excuse is they're cats, so they can do things much younger than humans -eg sneaking out to hunt the neighborhood mice! :)
I'm mindful of how it's been for Fowl Language as his comic characters have grown with his kids. I get the impression he's having to hold a lot of funny back, because it would be embarrassing for his teens. I respect that, but don't want to back myself into the same corner! I'd rather treat my cat family as their own "people" and spin my own tales, allowing my kids room to escape the limelight. I hope that when they're older the kid cat versions of them will be distant enough to be funny rather than embarrassing. Only time will tell though!
